For my second one pager assignment I chose to topic "Reach Out and Click". When I saw the words "reach out" I immediately thought about outer space and how we strive to reach beyond our wildest imagination. The internet has aided in our curiosity of the unknown and if we just reach out and click we will be able to conquer anything. I created this one pager using Adobe Photoshop to illustrate the true power of the internet. We are discovering new capabilities of the internet everyday and there is no telling what it could potentially control one day. This image illustrates how one day at the click of a button we may be able to control something as large and powerful as the universe with the Internet. The Internet can also be compared to the universe in that both are ever expanding, have infinite capacity, and are ever changing. (Click the image to see full size.)

One Pager: Addicted to Surf
For my first one pager assignment I chose the topic "Addicted to Surf". I created a cartoon comic strip using Adobe InDesign to illustrate how problematic people's addiction to the internet has become. This comic explains how sooner or later people will be checking into rehab to cure their internet addiction just like they check into rehab to cure an alcohol or gambling addiction. The receptionist in the comic sends the internet addict right back to the internet cafe which illustrates how there is no cure for an internet addiction. As of right now, internet addiction is not a medical condition but if people keep relying so heavily it may become a real disorder. (Click on the image to see full size).
